Blade Server

Blade server is a kind of single board server, which was proposed by RLX company in 2001. The traditional vertical server is large and takes up space. When enterprises use multiple servers, the host storage space is even more considerable. Therefore, rack mount server hosts appear, and several 1U high hosts are placed in cabinets for unified management. One full height cabinet has a space of about 42U, and the internal volume height is about 1867mm. The blade server is the re evolution of rack type host. It is more suitable for commercial and economic use and saves more space than the rack type host. The blade server has a complete base, which provides power supply, fan cooling and network communication functions in a unified and centralized manner. The base can be inserted with multiple single board computers. Because it looks like a blade, it is called a blade server, and the base is called a blade base.
