Machining

Cutting processing is a processing method for machine parts that use the relative motion of cutting tools and workpieces to cut off excess metal layers from blanks (castings, forgings, profiles, etc.) to obtain dimensional accuracy, shape and position accuracy, and surface quality that fully meet the requirements of the drawing. Most of the parts processed by casting, forging and welding are rough parts, which can rarely be used directly on the machine. Further machining is required to meet the technical requirements of the parts. Cutting is divided into two parts: machining and fitter. Machining refers to the machining of parts by workers operating machine tools.
